Terms of service
Last updated August 2026
These Terms of Service govern your use of the Abide Health Services website and any information you submit through it. By using this site, you agree to these terms.
1. Who we are
Abide Health Services is a South Carolina–based durable medical equipment (DME) supplier serving Medicaid, managed care, and waiver populations. References to "we," "us," or "our" mean Abide Health Services and its affiliates.
2. No medical advice
Content on this site is general information about our equipment and services. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it does not create a provider–patient relationship. Always consult a qualified clinician about medical decisions. In an emergency, call 911.
3. Eligibility, orders, and coverage
Equipment is dispensed only with a valid physician order or plan authorization and subject to payer coverage rules, medical necessity criteria, and applicable state and federal law. Submitting a referral or inquiry does not guarantee eligibility, coverage, approval, or delivery. Product availability, categories served, and service areas may change without notice.
4. Use of the site
You agree not to:
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information, including referral data.
- Submit another person's protected health information without proper authority.
- Attempt to access non-public areas, disrupt the site, or introduce malicious code.
- Scrape, harvest, or reuse site content for commercial purposes without permission.
5. Information you submit
Information submitted through our contact or referral form is transmitted to our team and handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Please do not send sensitive clinical detail through the website form; our staff will collect what is needed through secure channels.
6. Intellectual property
The Abide Health Services name, logo, site design, and content are owned by us or our licensors and may not be used without prior written permission.
7. Third-party links
Links to payers, health plans, or other third-party sites are provided for convenience. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Abide Health Services is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
9. Compliance
We operate in accordance with applicable federal and South Carolina requirements governing DME suppliers, including HIPAA privacy and security rules, the federal Anti-Kickback Statute, and payer program integrity requirements. Suspected fraud, waste, or abuse may be reported to us using the contact information below.
10. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms at any time; the "last updated" date reflects the current version. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
